Came into the office for a little while today, end of the month you know, gotta bill everything insight. Other then that I have no real reason to be here, little business in the Business Center (copies and such). Shouldn’t complain this is the only day I am working this week.
Right now the kids are hanging with their dad, but he will bring them into me when he has to go to work. I know they will think it is cool to ride the elevator to the parking garage. When we get home we need to wash the car and get it ready for the trip-oh yeah and squeeze in mowing the lawn, otherwise it will be a jungle when we get home from the trip.
The kids are so excited about the trip, several times a day they ask how many more days until the trip. They have their little backpacks all packed and ready to go. Of course, then they can’t find toys they want to sleep/play with because they are packed in their backpacks.
The dog gets to come along on the trip. How exciting for the dog his first vacation. I am sure the dog is going to be very confused, since we just moved a few weeks ago and now here we are packing up th car again, taking a long ride, poor guy what will he think? Probably, he will be laughing secretly to his doggy self because the cats are being left behind.
Speaking of cats they have adjusted well to the move, the black cat (most shy) has devised a routine. He is up in the am, begging for food and being lovey, dovey…very, annoyingly lovey, dovey. Then at a certain time-usually when the kids become the loudest he vaporizes into his special cat dimension (actually, the broom closet). The broom closet contains a small cutout for pipes that allows the cat so squeeze in and get to the basement, then he vanishes into the basement for the entire day; only to reappear at about 7p (kid’s bedtime) demanding food and love, then he sleeps by us and the whole thing repeats the next day.
